Since 2010, the Geopolitics Observatory of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair in Strategic and Diplomatic Studies, under the direction of Élisabeth Vallet, has been organising the Frontiers and Border Walls conference. Composed exclusively of researchers from the Université du Québec à Montréal, the Observatory explores the phenomenon of border walls on an international scale, analysing their geopolitical impact and their implications for migration and security dynamics.
